As a Category Buyer you are responsible for the procurement of all goods and services at cost-optimised and competitive conditions (Total Cost of Ownership), in compliance with the European purchasing policy and site-specific requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Indenpendently manage, negotiate and award investement and repair contracts
- Independently conclude maintenance, leasing and service agreements
- Act as the contact person for the procurement of defined technical product groups
- Coordination, implementation and participation in
- Germany-wide and Europe-wide purchasing projects
- Establishment and shaping of supplier relationships
- Identification of cost-saving potential and opportunities for continous improvement of workflows and their local implementation
Your Profile
- Technical or business degree, or comparable professional qualification
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing and project management are advantageous
- Excellent negotiation skills and strong communication abilities
- Very good knowledge of contact law
- Good user knowledge of SAP (R3-HANA) and MS Office
- Fluent comand of German language and very good comand of English language written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
