As a Controller at Sappi you act as a trusted business partner to mill management. You analyse financial and operational data, create transparency and translate numbers into clear recommendations for action that directly support management decisions at site and group level.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring data quality and consistency
  • Perform product cost controlling, including monthly costing and deviation analysis
  • Prepare and explain monthly management and group reporting
  • Act as financial partner for internal mill and investment projects
  • Handle ad-hoc analyses and prepare executive summaries for decision-making
  • Contribute to cross-site and European projects
  • Act as Deputy Manager Mill Controlling

 

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business Administration or a comparable field (e.g. Economics, Business Engineering, Finance)
  • Several years of professional experience in controlling and project environments
  • First experience with IFRS / group reporting
  • Strong SAP knowledge at key user level
  • Very good MS Office skills
  • Strong business orientation and ability to translate complex data into clear management insights and recommendations
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style
  • High level of accuracy, reliability and quality awareness
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
