Job Specifications

  • Prepare and monitor ongoing performance indicators, highlighting trends and variance
  • Provide support for ad-hoc analytical assignments to drive optimal decision making
  • Work closely with Business Process Engineers to maximize analytics and value within data warehouse
  • Develop systems, processes, reporting to effectively analyze sales performance metrics including price/volume, grade profitability/mix, sales performance by location, customer incentive programs, sales commission structures, operational variances, distribution methods, inventory management, business expansion, profit/cost improvement opportunities
  • Key financial resource in development of customer and sales representatives budgeting and forecasting

 

 

Preferred Knowledge & Traits:

  • Knowledge of creating visual analytics dashboards (in Tableau or Google’s Looker) is an asset
  • SAP, Oracle (Essbase), Salesforce are all assets yet not required
  • High ethics - committed to working at the highest levels of one’s technical competency (i.e., not taking shortcuts for expediency’s sake), not using or sharing confidential information for personal gain or to benefit another party and maintaining independence (aka, avoiding potential conflicts of interest.)
