Sappi’s Information Technology (IT) team is driving operational excellence, security resilience and digital innovation at scale across all diverse businesses.  Covering all aspects from IT strategy, people, process, solution and governance, the team enables Sappi to streamline operations, enhance customer experience and maximize the productivity and engagement of employees through state of the art technologies to ensure all divisions are fit for a long term sustainable and thriving future.

 

The SAP HR team is part of a global SAP team with team members located in different countries and continents. The team consist of the team leader and an inhouse consultant who are managing the external support teams as well as the external consultants and development team. 

 

Role and responsibilities: 

In this role you will report to the Global Service Team Manager SAP HR/EHS (based in Maastricht). 

  • You will be supporting end-users with your strong functional, operational knowledge of the related business processes.

  • You will be supporting major projects, working with corresponding cross functional business departments and with the Team Lead, understand functional and business roadmaps deployment schedules.

  • You will work closely with IT peers to help define and test solutions in support of prioritized business initiatives across the SuccessFactors and related integrated systems.

  • You will provide informed recommendations on various solutions for SuccessFactors and SAP HR ECC.  

  • You will review system configurations to develop a deep understanding of the systems solution that supports the corresponding business processes.

  • You will troubleshoot and triage problem reports, resolve, and escalate as required.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.

  • You have 2 to 3 years’ experience with SuccessFactors configuration.

  • You demonstrate a working knowledge of the SAP SuccessFactors modules e.g. Employee Central, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment Management, including configuration concepts.

  • You have excellent communication skills, are problem solving, and have excellent customer service skills.

  • You have the ability to express complex concepts effectively to the business, yet technical enough to have a detailed review of designs and approaches with technical resources.

  • You are proficient in English language.

 

Good to have:

  • Experience of SAP HR (ECC).

  • Experience in working within international global teams.

  • Knowledge of German and or Dutch language.

 

Traveling:  

Occasionally, it is sometimes necessary to travel to the group's locations (Belgium, Germany, Netherland, Austria, South Africa, North America).
