We are seeking a talented Data Integrator to join our growing team of data experts.

As a Data Integrator in Sappi, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw manufacturing data into valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Your expertise will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of digital twins to form the foundation of further advanced analytics projects. 

We are currently expanding our manufacturing data integration team to meet worldwide demands of a growing portfolio of new and exciting projects covering all manufacturing processes. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work closely with cross functional process and industry experts to understand the relationships between data and develop the data collection, data contextualisation and data integrity checks necessary to provide  Digital Twins
  • Manage all aspects of data acquisition and data enrichment within the Advanced Analytics platform ensuring governance and standards for:
    • Data source connectivity
    • Data streaming and transformation
    • Data quality, availability and security
  • Continuously monitor and improve Digital Twin data integrity and quality
  • Work closely with the data science team to deploy data science solutions within the digital twin environment.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • University degree in Information Technology
  • Sound programming and database experience using up-to-date software development practices. 
  • 5 years + experience with Java, Python, SQL essential.  OSI PI and/or Braincube knowledge advantageous.
  • The position requires strong problem- solving and consulting capabilities with the ability to communicate effectively in an international industrial environment.
  • Innovative mind-set, service oriented and results driven
  • A passion to engage, uplift and share knowledge with the Sappi advanced analytics  community.
