We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead and support major capital projects at our facility. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and cross-functional leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of our operations and will have the opportunity to grow into a higher-level management position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of large-scale electrical capital projects, including power systems, PLCs, drives, and controls.
  • Provide strategic oversight and technical direction for the design, installation, and maintenance of plant electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Manage internal and external resources including designers, vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Oversee power systems engineering, including distribution, generation, relaying, and Arc-Flash Program compliance.
  • Support plant operations with technical troubleshooting and occasional maintenance support.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating plant one-line diagrams and electrical documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (required).
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and capital project management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-million-dollar capital projects from concept through startup.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems (13.8 kV and below).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a desire and capability to advance into senior management roles.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCADMicrosoft Office Suite, and power system modeling software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
