Reliability Engineer
The Reliability Engineer/Supervisor will manage predictive and preventative maintenance and reliability on mill assets through lubrication, IR, vibration monitoring, NDT, and inspection programs. This role requires strong management and technical skills in the use and application of motor spectral and rotating equipment vibration analysis as well as other non-destructive testing methods. Analysis of this and other data is used in monitoring and predicting equipment failure as part of the reliability maintenance program. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the development and implementation of reliability improvement projects across the site including the expanded use and leadership of the tools such as Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA), and maintenance work management best practices and key performance indicators (KPI’s).
Entry Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required. A minimum of two years experience in reliablity and/or maintenance preferred.
- Previous experience in vibration analysis and machinery lubrication preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in implementing latest technology.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams in a matrixed organization with other departments such as operations, engineering and procurement preferred.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and hourly personnel.
- Must be a self-starter and require only general direction.
- Must demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude to be able to relate data analysis to physical components.
- Must have good computer skills and be familiar with various software programs.
