Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting both our customer operations and sales teams as they support our customers in the area of sustainability and product compliance. As a Sustainability Coordinator, you will be responsible for analyzing data and trends related to customer sustainability needs and fielding customer data, compliance, and reporting requests. Your insights will enhance customer support, sales efforts and contribute to our sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of sustainability principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Major Job Responsibilities:

Address customer inquiries and concerns related to sustainability, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Responding to customer inquiries regarding sustainability practices and product information.

Collaborate with inside and outside sales teams on customer inquiries related to our products and services in areas of sustainability and product compliance.

Analyze and track competitor companies on sustainability metrics

Complete customer sustainability questionnaires with accuracy and timeliness

Create educational materials for customers regarding the environmental benefits of our offerings.

Develop sales materials and presentations that address the sustainability benefits of our products and manufacturing platform for current and potential customers

Provide data-driven insights that highlight the environmental advantages of our products, enhancing our value proposition.

Collaborate with teams to deliver training sessions for internal customers on sustainability updates

Work with the marketing team to develop and execute sustainability-focused marketing campaigns that resonate with our target markets and customers

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements related to sustainable paper and packaging production

Track and understand the implications of new and pending legislation and communicate the impact to product stewardship

Act as a company advocate on sustainability matters, both internally and externally.

Maintain an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, market trends, and customer feedback.

Collaborate with sustainability colleagues to align efforts and share best practices to include customer council and internal ambassadors

Deliver sustainability presentations to customers
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.

Experience working in a professional setting.

Basic understanding of sustainability principles with a desire to grow in the field

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data

Effective communication and computer skills

Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence positive change.

Detail-oriented approach to organizing and delivering complex data and information

Proficiency in creating presentations and reports.

Experience in customer support, sales, or marketing roles is a plus.

Some knowledge of sustainable paper and/or packaging production practices is advantageous.
