Job Title:  Multi-Skilled Engineer

 

Department: Engineering and Maintenance

 

Role and responsibilities:

  • Performing Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying machine faults.
  • Ensuring tasks are completed on time, adhering to PPM plans and SLAs.
  • Reducing unplanned downtime and enhance machine reliability.
  • Providing timely feedback and reports on planned work and asset performance.
  • Create a zero accidents culture  and ensure full compliance with all Company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain the current 5S processes and standards within operations and implement ongoing improvement to workplace organisation.

 

Required qualifications and experience:

  • SVQ level 3/ HND or equivalent in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronic) or other relevant technical discipline
  • 18th Edition Electrical Regulations or Equivalent
  • Experience diagnosing PLC and VFD faults.
  • Experience gained in a continuous manufacturing operation as solvent coating, extrusion, paper production, printing or finishing.
  • Experience in a similar role where modern maintenance practices are employed.

 

Location: Dundee

 

Working hours: 36 hours per week

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Rotating Day/Night shift

Week 1: 07:00 – 19:00

Week 2: 19:00 – 07:00
