We’re on the lookout for an experienced  Supply Chain Data Analyst  in the Export supply chain department to analyse data and identify methods to predict and improve export delivery of cargo to customers.This role will need to uncover patterns and generate insight from export shipping data through reporting, graphical representation in order to improve the quality, delivery, customer service and importantly identify cost saving opportunities

 
As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will be responsible to :

 

  • Collect and analyse supply chain data from shipping , planning and operational and external service provider teams

  • Perform inventory analysis and present inventory reports which include bonded warehouse and CIP stocks to senior supply chain and operations managers

  • Support the supply chain export internal units in the development and implementation of consolidated reporting and information for the weekly sales and operations meetings

  • Leverage data analytics tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from export data working with RPA team

  • Design and propose solutions to optimize export processes, considering factors such as cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions , reporting this detail formally to senior supply chain manager

  • Research and analyse carrier activity, global shipping trends and customer needs in this role for record and market reporting reasons

  • Develop cost-benefit analyses to inform decision-making on export initiatives.

  • Monitor industry trends in export management and business analysis to stay up-to-date on best practices.

  • Develop forecasts and projections related to export performance based on data analysis and market insights.

What are we looking for? 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Mathematics, Finance, Logistics, Business Analytics or another related field 

  • Experience as a supply chain analyst, logistics coordinator , exports or other similar roles gained through internships is more desirable

  • Minimum of 3  and up to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-pressure environment

  • Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft excel advanced)
