With more than 400 years of experience in papermaking, Sappi Gratkorn develops and produces high-quality, multi-coated paper using the latest technologies.

 

In this role you will work at our Supply Chain Department and report directly to the Manager Supply Chain Planning.

 

Role and responsibilities:

  

  • Can you imagine what it means to plan a paper machine (PM), to supply the PM with the right raw materials on time or to optimize the PM's deckle to directly contribute to Gratkorn's bottom line?
  • Have you ever had the urge to control complex situations, such as the material flow at Gratkorn or supporting Sappi's customers to receive their paper on time?

Then you will fit perfectly into our team, where you will focus on:  

 

  • Planning of production quantities, lot sizes, dates and deadlines in the areas of raw material planning and demand calculation
  • Fine planning an material flow and dispatch, transport planning
  • Interacting with customs
  • Handling of planned and unplanned stock, monitoring and control those
  • Monitoring and Controlling of customer orders
  • Reporting and Projects
  • Service and support for production, sales and marketing, R&D … including weekend continuity and presence duty

 

Required qualifications:

 

  • General qualification for university entrance or comparable by work experience (1 year +)
  • Some experience in supply chain, logistics, sales office or a mill is of benefit
  • General computer skills
  • Able to analyze processes
  • Customer oriented, creative, innovative and able to work under pressure
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • English (spoken & written)
  • German (spoken & written) mandatory

 

Good to have

 

  • Ability to work independently and proactively, action oriented and result driven
  • Flexible, be able to work in a team spread over multiple locations, be multifunctional
