Operational Excellence Manager (m/f/d)
Department:
With more than 400 years of experience in papermaking, Sappi Gratkorn develops and produces high-quality, multi-coated paper using the latest technologies.
Our team drives Sappi’s strategy of operational excellence in close collaboration with other Sappi departments. We focus on improving and renewing processes and practices to create value for Sappi and our customers.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for Operational Excellence to join our Sappi Team in Gratkorn and will report directly to the Mill Director.
Role and responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation of Sappi’s strategy of Operational Excellence
- Challenge Teams and Leaders towards a culture of excellence
- Leading and supporting Continouus Improvement projects in terms of safety, digitalisation and automation
- Support teams in creating and improving standards and effective processes
- Lead the Continuous Improvement team of Gratkorn Mill - CI expert, safety engineer and data scientist
Required qualifications:
- A Master’s degree, preferably in economic, business, engineering related disciplines
- More than 5 years of professional experience in Operational Excellence
- You have a proven track record of working with Continuous Improvement methods and Six Sigma projects
- You have a proven track record of managing a cultural transition towards operational excellence
- You can manage multiple simultaneous complex projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management
- You are collaborative, communicate effectively and able to inspire different stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English is a requirement. Other languages is a plus
Location:
This job is located in Gratkorn.
Traveling:
Occasionally, it is sometimes necessary to travel to the group's locations in Europe
On-site & flexible
This position delivers main impact on-site however you have the possibility to occasionally work from home.
