With more than 400 years of experience in papermaking, Sappi Gratkorn develops and produces high-quality, multi-coated paper using the latest technologies.

We are looking for an experienced and highly committed Senior Project Manager for our CAPEX Projects within Sappi Europe, preferably with a strong background in the Pulp or Energy industry

 

Role and responsibilities:

  • Project management of major CAPEX projects in the mills of Sappi Europe

  • Preparation and leadership of investment studies based on marketing and sales strategies

  • Investigation of technological concepts together with suppliers and the corresponding mill

  • Preparation of tender documents and leading technical negotiations

  • Contract and claim management together with Purchasing

  • Project reporting together with Controlling

  • Continues improvement of project management tools


Required qualifications:

  • Completed technical studies (for example pulp & paper manufacturing, mechanical engineering, process engineering, power plant engineering)

  • Several years of relevant professional experience as a Project Manager in a similar industry

  • Good German and very good English language skills, other foreign languages are an advantage

  • High communication and intercultural competence

  • Willingness to travel within Europe

  • Independently well-structured working method, self- responsible as well as a good team player and leader

  • Self-initiative and entrepreneurial thinking

 

Location:

This job is located in Gratkorn.

 

Traveling: 

Occasionally, it is sometimes necessary to travel to the group's locations in Europe

 

On-site & flexible

This position delivers main impact on-site however you have the possibility to occasionally work from home.
