We’re on the lookout for a Rebate and Pricing Consultant to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer rebates to maximize revenue and profitability. This role supports sales operations, maintains strong customer relationships, and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations. The Rebate Analyst contributes to the overall financial health and success of the business.

 

As a Rebate and Pricing Consultant, you will be responsible for:

 

Price and Rebate Processing for SP&PP, Lignin and Trade SA

 

  • Accurately load all customer pricing based on agreed upon contracts.
  • Accurately calculate and process customer rebate accruals based on agreed-upon contracts and incentive programs.
  • Management of price cutovers on the large annual contracts.
  • Adhere and maintain timely and accurate data entry and of rebate-related information in SAP CCS.
  • Reconcile rebate claims with customer invoices and internal records.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or disputes related to rebate claims.
  • Accurately calculate and process customer rebate settlements.
  • Review and ensure all compliance issues are adhered to, for example, completed and signed customer contracts within LOA rules.
  • Assist CSA’s (customer service administrators) with pricing queries.
  • Review of sales invoices and orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pricing agreements and rebate terms.
  • Monitor and track sales performance against targets and rebate thresholds.
  • Accurately and timeously respond to audit queries on pricing and rebates.

CSR’s (Customer Service Requests)

 

  • Conduct integrity checks on CSR’s, for example, values are pulling through and CSR’s are finalised in SAP QM.
  • Analyse and report on CSR’s. Responsible for following up on CSR’s outstanding, as well as preparing a weekly presentation to the business on the status of claims outstanding

Reporting & Analysis

 

  • Generate regular reports on rebate activity, including monthly accruals and volume achievement against contract targets to the sales teams and sales GM’s.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.

Procurement for SP&PP Marketing and Supply Chain

 

  • Receive, obtain approval and process all procurement requisitions.
  • Follow up on vendor payments based on queries from the sales team and outstanding requisitions from procurement.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, order flow, finance and audit.
  • Provide timely and accurate information on rebate-related queries and issues to customers, sales teams, finance and audit.

System Maintenance

 

  • Assist with the ongoing maintenance and improvement of rebate processes and systems, including SAP CCS.

What are we looking for?

 

  • Relevant tertiary advanced diploma/ degree Finance, Accounting.
  • 2-3 Years experience in SAP.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a rebate administration or similar role within a sales or finance environment.
