At Sappi, we're looking for passionate and detail-oriented individuals to join our Finance Department as intern. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various aspects of finance in treasury and intercompany operations or general ledger and financial controlling processes.

Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Intern, depending on assigned team (GL, Controlling or Treasury& Intercompany) your duties will span a variety of financial functions, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with month-end closing tasks and standardizing processes
• Posting invoices and assisting in general ledger accounting tasks
• Preparing reports and analyses related to financial processes
• Managing and supporting the manual payments process
• Contributing to financial process improvements and automation projects
• Maintaining and updating financial documentation
• Assisting with bank statement management and postings
• Supporting payment runs and cash reporting

Your Profile
We’re looking for candidates who are motivated to grow and learn in a finance role. You should have:

• A degree (or be working towards one) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• A good command of written and spoken English
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Excel being an asset
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• A team-oriented mindset with great communication and interpersonal abilities
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

We are hybrid and Flexible:

In Krakow office we work in a hybrid working model; as this position delivers high impact on-site, we expect you to be present in the office at least twice a week.
