Position description
Are you eager to begin or advance your career in finance within a dynamic, international environment? At Sappi, we're looking for passionate and detail-oriented individuals to join our Finance Department as intern. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across OTC processes:
- Preparing and sending customer account statements
- Preparing and sending account balances and bank confirmations
- Preparing and distributing daily/weekly reports within the OtC team, as well as creating a monthly reporting schedule
- Allocating customer payments and supporting the collections process
- Supporting improvement projects and participating in testing activities
- Assisting with other operational tasks, including preparing customer payment‑behavior analyses
- Preparing SIN control reports for the Credit Risk team
- Verifying credit notes exceeding EUR 1,000
- Supporting the system handling of dispute cases
- Supporting the rebate and agent commission process, including contract approval in the system and settlement activities
Your profile
- You are a student or you have Bachelor degree and want to develop in the field of accounting,
- You have very good written and spoken English; an additional European language will be considered an advantage.
- You have good MS Office skills,
- You like working in a team and have excellent peer relationships,
- You are well-organized and pay attention to the details,
- You are available to work for around 40 hours weekly,
We are hybrid and Flexible:
In Krakow office we work in a hybrid working model, we expect you to be present in the office at least twice a week.
