Position description/Department description
Sappi Logistics Operation Department - is young and energetic Team responsible for managing the flow of products from Sappi's facilities. We ensure that products are delivered to our customers efficiently and on time. Our work is characterized by collaboration, creativity, and flexibility. We work together continuously to analyze and assess logistics challenges, identify potential solutions, and implement them quickly and efficiently. Besides managing the continental transport – we are also handling Logistics Complaints, planning the containers for the overseas deliveries and preparing the overseas documentation.
Sappi Logistics Operation Team is group of motivated and creative professionals. As a Logistics Operations Specialist you will be responsible for supporting us in operational tasks in the field of logistics documentation for our organization in Europe.
Your responsibilities:
- Execute Transport planning using different means of Transport
- Coordination and scheduling of delivery dates and implementation of system-based planning
- Responsibility for operational and daily freight purchasing, especially in case of order peaks and spot transactions
- Ensuring punctual, economical and sustainable order fulfilment
- Supervising of outsourced transport planning and operations Overseas.
- Execute and monitor operations for all transports of Sappi from several shipping points.
- Execute transport on request
- Contact person for transport and warehouse-related questions in day-to-day business and troubleshooting
- Maintenance and cleaning of data in the relevant systems (SAP TM and EWM)
Your profile:
- You have Bachelor or Master degree,
- You have 1-2 years of professional experience in Logistics,
- You are able to work in an international team with contacts in different countries,
- You have very good written and spoken English,
- You have good MS Office skills (experience in SAP is a plus),
- You work well with timeliness,
- You present good organizational and analytical skills,
- You demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills.
We are hybrid and Flexible:
In Krakow office we work in a hybrid working model; as this position delivers high impact on-site, we expect you to be present in the office at least twice a week.
