Position description

We are looking for an ambitious individual who will join our CoPE in Krakow and support us in further development of the Logistics Department. As a Logistics Operations Team Leader in you will be responsible for supporting both operational and strategic tasks in the field of logistics.

 

More specifically you will:

 

  • Monitor Transport Planning process for deliveries to customers and distribution centers by daily cooperation with Transport Planning Team Coordinator;
  • Define and reshape when necessary the structure of Transport Planning process;
  • Manage performance of haulers and implement new providers;
  • Participate in financial negotiations with service providers and define on price and service level;
  • Monitor Complaint Handling process by regular cooperation with Logistics Complaint Team;
  • Support in OVS Documentation process by cooperation with Overseas Documentation Team Coordinator;
  • Be responsible for Logistics Team to reach agreed KPIs;
  • Coordinate the work distribution among the team members within set up working time system and run time evidence;
  • Use and develop existing analyzing tools for logistics costs, performance and complaints to support improvement of Logistics Services;
  • Support Logistics department to optimize work flow and increase saving potentials;
  • internal CI initiatives, provide guidance and embrace team members to act on CI projects;
  • Participate in or lead external European and Global projects.

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics area
  • Min. 5 years of professional experience, preferably in Logistics
  • Experience in leadership or project management, iIdeally also in people management
  • Basic knowledge of Logistics and Customs Law Regulations
  • Fluent knowledge (verbal and written) in English; German is a plus
  • Practical skill in SAP system and MS Office package
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to form clear goals and tasks to the team
  • Forward thinking, ability to take a long-term view and take a strategic perspective
  • Focus on relationship building, customer service and business partnering
  • Maturity and confidence, ability to form your opinion and decision making skills
  • Master in verbal and written communication
  • Analytical thinking and innovative approach to problem-solving

 

 

 

We are hybrid and Flexible:

In Krakow office we work in a hybrid working model; as this position delivers high impact on-site, we expect you to be present in the office at least twice a week.
