Position description
We are looking for an ambitious individual who will join our CoPE in Krakow and support us in further development of the Logistics Department. As an Overseas Planning Coordinator you will be responsible for the day to day operational challenges, coordinate the work of Overseas Planning Team and take care of individual and team’s development in close collaboration with the functional manager
More specifically you will:
- Plan and arrange deliveries according to customer requirements, ensuring efficient scheduling and execution.
- Act as an escalation point for shipping lines, sales offices, and the OVS transport planning team.
- Support Transport Planners in their daily tasks and coordinate workload distribution.
- Monitor Transport Planning KPIs, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize transport planning processes to improve efficiency and workload management.
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage cooperation between Sappi internal planners and external logistics service providers.
- Lead or support process improvement initiatives, including automation and robotics projects.
- Oversee team coordination, including performance reviews, coaching, and team meetings.
Your profile
- Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Supply Chain area
- Min. 4 years of professional experience, preferably in Logistics Processes
- Experience in leadership or project management
- Basic knowledge of Logistics Law Regulations and Customs Law
- Fluent knowledge (verbal and written) in English
- Practical skill in SAP system and MS Office package
- Strong organizational skills, ability to form clear goals and tasks to the team
- Focus on relationship building and business partnering
- Master in verbal and written communication
- Maturity and confidence, ability to form your opinion
- Openness and understanding different perspectives
- Responsibility for your actions and determination in pursuit of the goal
- Analytical thinking and innovative approach to problem-solving
- Leadership skills to encourage collaboration and facilitate healthy working relationships
We are hybrid and Flexible:
In Krakow office we work in a hybrid working model; as this position delivers high impact on-site, we expect you to be present in the office at least twice a week.
