Position description/Department description

Sappi Logistics Operation Department -  is young and energetic Team responsible for managing the flow of products from Sappi's facilities. We ensure that products are delivered to our customers efficiently and on time. Our work is characterized by collaboration, creativity, and flexibility. We work together continuously to analyze and assess logistics challenges, identify potential solutions, and implement them quickly and efficiently. Besides managing the continental transport – we are also handling Logistics Complaints, planning the containers for the overseas deliveries and preparing the overseas documentation.

 

Sappi Logistics Operation Team is group of motivated and creative professionals.

 

As a Transport Planner you will be responsible for transport planning according to the requirements from the customers, agreed process and high quality service and costs

 

You will be responsible to:

  • Executing transport plans in accordance with customer requirements, agreed-upon processes, and high-quality service standards;
  • Taking responsibility for daily operational problems connected to planning;
  • Playing an active role in transport costs optimization together with our customers, sales offices, and others;
  • Creating the best possible transport combinations to minimize costs;
  • Controlling dispatch stock and taking action to reduce it;
  • Ensuring that all necessary information between involved parties in the organization is exchanged on time;

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree;
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Fluent knowledge in English (German will be a plus);
  • Able to work under pressure / delivery in a timely manner;
  • Able to work in an international team with contacts on different locations and in different countries;
  • Good MS Office suite skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook);
  • Experience in SAP is a plus.

 

We are hybrid and Flexible:

In Krakow office we work in a hybrid working model; as this position delivers high impact on-site, we expect you to be present in the office at least twice a week.
