With over 40 years of expertise, Sappi Rockwell Solutions Ltd, based in Dundee, Scotland, is a well-established company focused on developing unique and proprietary coating formulations. We specialise in manufacturing high-quality lidding film packaging for the food industry. As a business on an excellent growth trajectory, we are expanding our sales team to meet increasing demand and further drive success.
Role and responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Achieving sales growth and profit targets
- New business development from prospecting, through the sales funnel to conversion and building loyalty
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships between customers and Sappi Rockwell Solutions
- Initiating regular NPD meetings with current and prospective customers
- Creating quarterly, monthly and weekly sales plans and forecasts, and prioritising and scheduling own activities
- Keeping up-to-date with market trends & competitor analysis
- Securing agreements for harmonised sales policies for prospective accounts
- Proposing promotional activities in co-operation with our marketing and business unit leaders
In this role you will report to the Head of Sales.
Required qualifications:
- You have 5 or more years key account/sales experience in similar roles
- You must be commercially astute and have the ability to hold strategic conversations with customers
- Expert, technical knowledge in the lidding films industry with a proven track record in sales and business development
- Experience in flexible packaging industry.
On-site & Flexible:
This position is remote working, preferably based in the Midlands with a need to travel extensively across UK regularly, building face-to-face relationships with customers, and with expectations of occasional EU and international travel.
