Join our team and play a vital role in ensuring that all equipment and processes are fully utilized and functional. As the Checker CRF 1, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the outside area of the plant within your area of responsibility and ensuring the safe execution of all outside activities.

 

As a Checker CRF 1, you will:

  • Ensure the plant operates at the required rate and meets quality specifications
  • Report defects or deviations from normal plant operation
  • Identify abnormal or emergency plant conditions and take corrective actions
  • Create a safe working environment by identifying and managing risks
  • Report accidents, injuries, and fires immediately to the Process Controller or Shift Superintendent
  • Act as an Outside Operator when required, with the necessary licenses
  • Coach and train new employees in your area of responsibility
  • Accurately capture data for plant efficiency calculations and record plant deviations

Minimum Requirements:

  • N3 Pulp and Paper / Matric with Maths and Physical Science
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a production environment
