Join Our Team as an HR Consultant – Employee Relations!
We are looking for a skilled HR Consultant specializing in Employee Relations (ER) to provide expert advice and manage processes that drive efficiency, maintain a quality working environment, and ensure compliance with labor legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously update and manage all IR/ER administration, ensuring databases and records comply with legal and company standards.
- Prepare documentation, arguments, and coordinate with line management (witnesses) for hearings, including references to prior cases.
- Compile and analyze monthly reports on IR/ER incidents, identifying trends.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including GMs, trade unions, CCMA, and consultative forums.
- Collaborate with the Senior ER Manager to offer expertise on IR-related issues and monitor attendance trends, recommending corrective actions.
- Identify and manage potential IR/ER conflict risks, implementing action plans and advising Line Management accordingly.
- Oversee Transformation Objectives, ensuring BBBEE and EE targets are met, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate internal dispute resolution, manage disciplinary hearings, and conduct IR investigations, including CCMA and Labour Court matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- NQF Level 6 in Human Resources or a related qualification.
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
