Now Hiring: Maintenance Support Instruments Foreman - Pulp Section

We are looking for an experienced Foreman to supervise skilled tradespeople and ensure the safe, efficient execution of maintenance tasks in the chemical section, enhancing overall equipment performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess needs for maintenance tasks and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors.
  • Coordinate and supervise outside contractors.
  • Oversee maintenance staff and ensure safety.
  • Maintain records and ensure equipment functionality.
  • Perform maintenance tasks and manage projects.
  • Prepare compliance documentation and manage work orders.
  • Utilize SAP for maintenance standards and performance improvements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Diploma / NQF level 5 - 6.
  • Recognized Trade Certificate (Manpower/Seta accredited).
  • 3 - 5 years’ plant operations experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Pulp and paper industry experience is a plus.
  • SAP knowledge is advantageous.
