Join Our Team: Master Technician Mechanical - Projects Wanted!

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Master Technician Mechanical to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for preparing engineering drawings and executing various project-related tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical specifications and procedures.
  • Compile enquiry documents (RFQ).
  • Adjudicate quotations for minor projects and assist in contractor selection.
  • Utilize Sappi systems to execute projects and meet objectives.
  • Formulate and update engineering drawings (e.g., plant layout, machine parts, tanks, process equipment, minor structures, process piping).
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) policies and procedures.
  • Maintain work quality in line with standards.
  • Communicate and report deviations as needed; support MDTs.

Requirements:

  • NQF6: National Diploma / NH Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of heavy industry experience.
