We are seeking a professional Planner to effectively manage and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring long-term plant availability and reliability while enhancing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and review the last 24 hours of notifications for the MDT meeting.
- Oversee the weekly planning process, ensuring compliance and optimal resource utilization.
- Release work orders for the upcoming week's plan in the absence of the Administrator.
- Prepare and distribute the weekly loading report to Foremen and relevant supervisors.
- Conduct thorough equipment inspections to ensure the accuracy of data in SAP.
- Manage and review all shut-related work orders, closely monitoring their status.
- Develop and maintain bar charts for shut work, ensuring approval and visibility for execution.
- Attend meetings, take detailed minutes, and compile reports on shut progress and compliance.
- Develop and update Master Data documents as required.
- Ensure effective maintenance of rotables.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Diploma / NQF Level 5-6
- Recognized Trade Certificate (Manpower/SETA accredited)
- 3-5 years of experience in plant operations
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in the pulp and paper industry is advantageous
- Familiarity with CMMS (SAP experience) is a plus
