Ngodwana Energy is looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to support the General Manager: Operations by managing day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality procurement in line with policies, while also driving the development and implementation of business process and IT system improvements within the Procurement department.

 

 

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible to:

 

  • Compliance: Adhere to SHEQ policies and ISO standards; communicate regulatory updates to contractors.
  • Procurement Systems and Process Support: Align with strategic objectives, support and implement user requirements, and provide SAP Super User support.
  • Contract Management: Oversee vendor performance, manage the contract lifecycle, and develop a centralized Contract Management System.
  • Master Data Management: Maintain and improve Vendor and Material Master Data.
  • Tactical Sourcing: Implement sourcing strategies, manage teams, address supply chain risks, and explore standardization opportunities.
  • Reporting: Develop complex analyses, introduce new methodologies, report risks, and prepare management reports.
  • Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD): Drive ESD initiatives and manage the bid process for ESD projects.

 

 

What are we looking for? 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in commercial, engineering or legal, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 Years procurement experience in an engineering and construction, manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
