We’re on the lookout for a Senior Business Administrator based at Grootgeluk, Ngodwana to provide a comprehensive business and administrative support in order to ensure that the administrative functions in the relevant area and district are effectively overseen and maintained.
 
As a Senior Business Administrator, you will be responsible for:

 

 

  • Consolidation of the week report for Mpu and maintain the required rolling data and template used in the measurement of targets.
  • Consolidation of annual budgets and all forecasts (weekly, quarterly and monthly) for integrated regional forestry operations to ensure the measurement of targets.
  • Compilation of the monthly silviculture fixed costs reports using SAP in order to reflect on business activities.
  • Compilation and consolidation of the monthly Mpu report for review of regional performance for the month and for the year to date.
  • Reporting on the monthly fixed costs and variable cost expenses against budget to achieve targets and ensure accountability.
  • Maintenance and updating of the master budget workbooks for Mpu to ensure uniformity and ease of consolidation in order to meet budget cost requirements and scheduling.
  • Uploading of the annual budget for Mpu Regional Departments into SAP in order for costs to be managed against budget.
  • Consolidation of the budget presentation for the General Manager to ensure accuracy and alignment to business plans.
  • Co-ordination, consolidation and monitoring of Capex project implementation within fund allocations and planned period to maintain standards and ensure progress.
  • Processing of asset disposals and Capex applications using electronic Capex system for Mpu regional office.
  • Creation of purchase requisitions and completion of service entries or receipting on SAP.
  • Resolution of disputes relating to rates as well as payment queries reported by the Forestry Managers and service providers. Initiate the required change as per the agreed outcome.
  • Administration of the master data of the AIMS system ensuring silviculture information is managed and relevant to reporting requirements.
  • Management of contractor rates in AIMS including the monthly change due to fuel price changes.
  • Extraction and upload of silviculture activity hectares monthly from AIMS into SAP to ensure accurate management information.
  • Creation of fuel sheets for harvesting and road transport contractors as well as road maintenance contractors according to each contract.  Monthly updates to these fuel sheets  ensuring that contractor rates are correct for accurate financial costing and contractor payments.
  • Maintenance of the master SAFCA cost workbook used in silviculture and village management tenders.
  • Arranging of flight, accommodation and rental car bookings for Mpu staff on the travel system.
  • Updating of the attendance register for General Manager personnel at Grootgeluk.

 

What are we looking for?
 

  • Finance/Admin related qualification or NQF 7 qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • SAP knowledge an advantage  
  • Valid Code 08 Drivers license
