We’re on the lookout for a Senior Outside Operator Fibreline 3 to operates the Cooking or Bleach plant processes and coordinate the Cooking or Bleach Plant activities on shift basis as efficiently as possible, ensuring effective performance of all aspects of the Operating units.

As a Senior Outside Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Shift Management, effectively take and hand over shifts, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Equipment Monitoring, control and audit operating parameters of all equipment; conduct pre-start inspections.
• Machine Isolation, perform isolations and safely shut down equipment as required.
• Issue Reporting, report operational problems and abnormal conditions to the Senior Process Controller, including corrective actions taken.
• Inspection Duties, regularly inspect equipment, using a shift checklist to identify potential issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Compliance, adhere to work procedures and instructions while maintaining SHEQ standards.
• Communication, maintain open communication with senior management and team members regarding plant operations.
• Housekeeping, collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Performance Sustainability, ensure safe and efficient process performance while minimizing downtime.
• Administrative Tasks, accurately document operating information, deviations, and complete necessary notifications.

Required Minimum Qualifications: 

• S4 Chemical Engineering, or a relevant Diploma.
• 1 Year manufacturing experience.
• Chemical Cellulose or Pulp and Paper  experience will be advantageous.
