Join Our Team as a Temp Receptionist – 12 Month FTC!
We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Temp Receptionist to provide high-quality access control, reception, telephonic, and mailing services to stakeholders and mill employees, while supporting administrative functions within the HR department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional reception support to Sappi employees, customers, and visitors at all times.
- Receive and handle incoming calls promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional and presentable reception area.
- Receive and manage incoming mail, deliveries, and parcels, ensuring proper dispatch to the appropriate recipients.
- Assist with clerical and administrative tasks in support of HR duties.
- Maintain the Ngodwana Mill’s intranet and telephone list.
- Support shutdown periods with master data capturing, contractor recruitment, and perform administrative duties in areas like training, development, and medical station support.
- Conduct system tests on the PABX, report faults to helpdesk, and alert the Risk Manager/security about any major incidents; update notice boards and maintain portable electrical equipment and access control systems.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a Grade 12/Matric with a good result in English.
- Be professional, presentable, and friendly.
- Communicate clearly in English and ideally in a second local language.
- Be reliable and able to work independently at the reception desk.
- Be computer literate in MS Office.
