Regional Sales Manager/Senior Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets of $200M - $300M within the assigned region
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to maximize their potential and performance
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to drive product enhancements and promotional initiatives and insight into future market needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support customer and business strategies and initiatives
- Analyze regular reports and forecasts on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement to support customer initiatives and operation planning objectives
- Negotiate customer agreements and contract management, including NDA and corresponding legal arrangements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of sales (paperboard and/or folding carton converter) experience
- 5-10 years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Travel required approximately 50% to 60% of time, including outside working hours and overnight
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
