The person in this role is integral to the overall success of the Paper Mill as well as the Somerset Mill and is a key member of the management team.

 

Job Specifications/Requirements:

  • Leadership responsibilities for three Paper Machine departments, Coating & Additives and Finishing & Shipping
  • Areas of accountability include safety, quality, production, and cost
  • Develop technical, business, and leadership capabilities of the paper mill organization
  • Member of the Somerset Mill’s Leadership Team (MLT)

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in pulp mill operations
  • Experience in working with printers and/or with the final customer

 

Entry Requirements:

  • Education – Engineering degree preferred
  • Extensive expertise in coated papermaking operations
  • Demonstrated track record in exceeding performance standards with continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, production, and total product cost
  • Demonstrated ability in the area of communications and team building
  • Demonstrated ability developing employee capability
