Predictive Maintenance Engineer
Job Specifications/Requirements:
Manage predictive and preventive maintenance and reliability on Pulp and Paper Mill assets through lubrication, IR, vibration monitoring, NDT, and inspection programs.. Provide strong management and technical skills in the use and application of motor spectral and rotating equipment vibration analysis as well as other non-destructive testing methods. Analysis of this and other data is used in monitoring and predicting equipment failure as part of the reliability maintenance program. This position supervises craftsmen that perform data collection routines, oil sampling, and other predictive and preventive tasks. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the development and implementation of reliability improvement projects across the site.
Required Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of two years of college in a technical, engineering or have equivalent mill experience.

Must demonstrate strong leadership and people skills and be able to communicate and work with all levels of management and hourly personnel.

Must be a self-starter and require only general direction.

Must demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude to be able to relate data analysis to physical components.

Must have good computer skills and be familiar with various software programs.
Preferred Qualifications:

4 year technical degree

Previous experience in vibration analysis and machinery lubrication

A demonstrated leader of implementing latest technology.

Successful supervisory experience.

Five years experience in a Pulp/Paper mill, or similar industry.
