Sappi North America is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to support continued growth within our specialty papers business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and providing technical expertise to customers within targeted market segments.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Promote specialty paper solutions, including grease-resistant and coated products.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide technical product support and recommendations.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions.
  • Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 8+ years of experience managing complex sales cycles and strategic customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and market expansion.
  • Experience selling to packaging converters or industrial manufacturing customers.
  • Strong analytical and strategic sales planning skills.
  • Knowledge of specialty paper products or related technical products.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Additional Information

  • Hybrid role based in the Boston area.
  • Two days per week in-office required.
  • Approximately 50% domestic travel and up to 5% international travel.
