Overview:
This role is responsible for executing sourcing strategies, managing procurement activities for services and capital projects, and supporting cost reduction initiatives at the Cloquet Mill. The position works closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and legal teams to manage bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement processes including bid development, evaluation, and contract awards
  • Execute sourcing initiatives aligned with corporate and site strategies
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers and manage contract implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on project scope and procurement needs
  • Identify cost savings and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Monitor supplier performance and support supplier relationship management
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, sustainability, and regulatory standards
  • Provide transactional procurement support and backup for team members as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field
  • 5–10 years of procurement or related experience
  • Strong sourcing, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • ERP experience (e.g., SAP) preferred
  • Professional certification (CPSM, CPIM) is a plus
