We are hiring!

We’re on the lookout for a Process Relief Operator Energy to assist production in reducing overtime by providing leave/training relief.

 

As a Process Relief Operator Energy, you will be responsible for:

  • Perform effective shift handovers and takeovers to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Operate plant equipment and processes safely and in accordance with best operating practices and procedures.
  • Relieve operators across designated positions, performing all required duties to maintain production.
  • Assist with plant breakdowns and operational activities, supporting the Foreman and operating team as required.
  • Report and record operational incidents, equipment faults, and breakdowns accurately in the shift log and to the Foreman.
  • Maintain compliance with SHEQ requirements by identifying hazards, taking corrective action, and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including problem-solving activities, training, coaching, and section-specific interventions.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and conduct behavioural safety observations (BBS) to support a safe, efficient, and well-organised workplace.

What are we looking for?

  • Matric (Grade 12) with Maths & Physical Science & minimum N3 in Pulp and Paper/Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 months as Process Trainee or Production Intern.
